Another new restaurant in the Aburi family; Gyoza Bar opened their doors in 2014 with the help of Northern Alpine's commercial construction and project management teams. We stepped into this space before it was even remotely identifiable as anything other than an empty brick room. We took advantage of the exposed brick by pairing it with refiled wood and some steel accents. Following brand guidelines from Aburi, and applying some creative inspiration of our own, we were able to breathe new life into 622 W Pender, and transform it into one of the city's trendiest new Japanese restaurants.
